TRM RCK50 de-icing roof heating cable clips provide a secure, practical way to mount heat trace cables on a variety of roofing materials. Designed for roof and gutter de-icing installations, these roof clips are designed to securely hold roof de-icing heating cables, including self-regulating heating cables and mineral-insulated heating cables, in position along roof edges, eaves, gutters, and other areas where cable routing is needed to help manage ice dams and icicle buildup. The clips support proper positioning of the heating cable.
ROOFING VERSATILITY: Roof systems have different installation requirements. RCK50 mounting clips are suited to shingled, standing-seam metal and flat roofs, as well as the base of gutters, making them a convenient accessory for residential, commercial and industrial heat tracing projects.
FLEXIBLE ATTACHMENT: Depending on the roof type and manufacturer's requirements, secure clips with screws, nails, or properly rated weatherproof adhesive. This gives installers options where roof penetrations are permitted or where adhesive attachment is preferred. Follow roofing-material instructions, waterproof any fastener penetrations and allow adhesives to cure completely before positioning the cable.
CABLE SUPPORT: Plan the heating cable layout, attach clips at direction changes and along unsupported runs, then insert the cable and gently close the clips with pliers.
