The KERDI-LINE-VARIO assembly includes an injection-molded polypropylene flange and drain body with a standard 2" (50 mm) NPT outlet, plus supplied PVC and ABS couplings for connection to compatible drainpipe. The stainless steel channel measures 1-11/16" (43 mm) wide by 3/8" (10 mm) high and is available in 48" and 96" lengths, with a shortest allowable trimmed length of 10" (25.4 cm). Stainless steel end caps finish trimmed edges cleanly, while the minimum recommended tile thickness is 3/8" (10 mm) for a streamlined shower floor drain installation.

For personalized shower design, the grate is available in SQUARE, FLORAL, HERRINGBONE, and SLANT patterns in brushed stainless steel or nine TRENDLINE color finishes. The grate and channel kit and the flange kit are purchased separately, with optional strainers and Grate Guards available to simplify installation and help protect the system. The floor can be sloped on a single plane toward the linear shower drain for efficient drainage and flexible floor tile layouts. KERDI-LINE-VARIO requires no special maintenance, is resistant to mold and fungi, and allows the grate to be removed for cleaning the drain housing and drain pipes.
