Product Description:
Schluter Systems shower kit includes all the necessary components by Schluter Systems to create a watertight shower system enclosure (assembly). The kit consists of a shower tray (pre-sloped shower pan) with an integrated KERDI 200 waterproofing membrane. The tray (drain pan) is made of lightweight expanded polystyrene to construct a mortar-free shower base, applied over plywood or concrete floors. The KERDI drain kit includes a 2" flange and a sleek grate assembly that easily adjusts to the thickness of the ceramic tile or stone covering.
The flange is designed for bonded water-resistant assembly, providing a large contact area with the shower floor base. The KERDI shower curb, is a lightweight, durable threshold made of a KERDI board. It is stable, load-bearing, ideal for use with glass shower doors or other fixtures. Its prefabricated design allows quick and easy installation, providing long-lasting protection against water damage. For a watertight seal, apply KERDI corners where the curb connects to the tray.
KERDI 200 is a pliable, bonded polyethylene membrane with special webbing synthetic fibers, ensuring a secure bond with thin-set mortar adhesive and creating a waterproof wall surround. The pipe and valve seals overlap the KERDI membrane, closing all gaps around the pipes extending from the wall. KEBA band (strip) designed to waterproof butt joints and floor/wall connections. The KERDI drain seamlessly integrates with the pre-sloped tray.
