ARDEX TWP Tilt Wall Patch and Finishing Compound is a high-performance, trowelable Portland cement-based solution specifically formulated for repairing, patching, resurfacing, filling, and smoothing interior and exterior vertical concrete or masonry surfaces. This advanced polymer-modified mortar delivers superior bonding strength, smooth workability, and an ultra-durable finish, making it an ideal choice for tilt-up wall panels, precast concrete panels, poured-in-place concrete walls, concrete block, brick, masonry, and other vertical substrates. This vertical concrete wall patch compound is engineered for easy mixing, fast application, and convenient trowel finishing, helping contractors, builders, restoration professionals, and concrete repair specialists save time while achieving clean, professional results. ARDEX TWP can be used to correct surface irregularities, fill cracks, voids, shallow spalls, chips, honeycombs, bug holes, tie-rod marks, and other imperfections that affect the appearance of concrete and masonry walls. ARDEX TWP offers excellent featheredge capabilities for thin skim-coat applications and can also be installed at greater thicknesses where deeper surface correction is required. Approximate material coverage is 100 to 150 square feet per 10 lb. bag when applied as a skim coat over a smooth substrate, 33.3 square feet per bag at 1/8 inch, and 16.6 square feet per bag at 1/4 inch. The compound is suitable for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential projects, including large tilt-up construction, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, parking garages, residential basements, building exteriors, architectural precast panels, masonry walls, and renovation projects requiring a smooth, durable vertical concrete finish.

For installation, mix approximately 2 1/2 quarts of clean water with one 10 lb. bag. For smaller batches, use two parts ARDEX TWP powder to one part water by volume. Mix only the amount that can be placed within the approximate 15 to 20-minute pot life, then apply the material using a suitable trowel to fill imperfections and smooth the prepared surface. Depending on application thickness, temperature, humidity, airflow, and other jobsite conditions, the finished surface may be ready to paint or seal in approximately 15 to 60 minutes. The VOC-free formula contains 0 VOCs, supporting use in occupied interior environments as well as exterior construction and restoration applications.

Each bag contains 10 lb. or 4.5 kg net weight of finishing compound and should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and moisture. Unused material should be protected by removing excess air from the opened bag and sealing it tightly to help preserve product quality. ARDEX TWP has a shelf life of nine months when stored unopened under recommended conditions and is covered by the ARDEX L.P. Standard Limited Warranty.
