This white, one-component sealant uses a silyl-terminated polyether base that cures with moisture to form a highly flexible, mildew-resistant, shrinkage-free bond. It is ideal for ARDEX TLT shower systems, regular shower assemblies, waterproof wall panels, bathtub surrounds, shower pans, shower trays, benches, niches, and areas where movement, moisture, and long-term durability matter.

ARDEX TLT 700 bonds to a wide range of materials, including ceramic tile, porcelain, stone, glass, metal, wood, plastic, concrete, gypsum drywall panels, APA grade untreated plywood, select waterproofing membranes, polystyrene foam, foam sheets, foam mats, fiberglass, granite, marble, vinyl flooring, cement surfaces, and other floor coverings. It is also suitable for attaching bathroom and shower accessories such as soap holders and door handles.

For best results, apply at acceptable installation temperatures from 50°F to 85°F (10°C to 30°C). Apply in strips to the substrate or item being installed, keeping glue points about 9 in to 11 in apart, then set the item immediately into the wet adhesive. Do not apply more material than can be covered within about 20 minutes, as skinning begins in approximately 20 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. Heavy objects should be supported until full cure, and adhesive should set at least 24 hours before receiving traffic.
