The non-sanded formula installs smoothly from a true featheredge up to 1/2 inch (12 mm), allowing installers to fill surface imperfections, repair minor cracks, smooth transitions, and prepare damaged or irregular floors without leaving a coarse texture. ARDEX MRF is ideal beneath ceramic tile, porcelain tile, granite tile, marble tile, mosaic tile, glass tile, natural stone tile, vinyl plank, laminate flooring, carpet tile, and other compatible finished flooring. It supports efficient preparation for bathrooms, kitchens, foyers, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, closed balconies, shower areas, bathtub surrounds, steam rooms, spas, and other moisture-prone spaces when incorporated into an approved flooring or waterproofing system. Its rapid-drying performance allows compatible floor coverings to be installed in as little as 30 minutes, helping reduce downtime and keep fast-track renovation and construction projects moving.

For proper mixing, combine each 10 lb. (4.5 kg) bag with 1.75 quarts (1.65 L) of clean water. For smaller batches, mix approximately 3.25 parts powder with 1 part water by volume. Apply the mixed material with a suitable flat steel trowel to produce a smooth, uniform surface at the required thickness. One bag covers approximately 28 sq. ft. at 1/8 inch, 56 sq. ft. at 1/16 inch, or approximately 200 to 250 sq. ft. when applied as a skim coat, depending on the texture, porosity, and condition of the substrate. With zero VOC content and suitability for castor wheel traffic when protected by finished flooring, ARDEX MRF offers a dependable surface preparation solution for modern flooring systems.

Packaged in a convenient 10 lb. bag, ARDEX MRF is easy to transport, mix, and apply for projects of different sizes.
