The recommended mixing ratios for paintable consistency are 1 gallon of Ardex 8 per 9 lb. of Ardex 9 or, for smaller batches, 1 part Ardex 8 to 1 part Ardex 9 by volume. For caulking consistency, the ratios are 2/3 gallon of Ardex 8 per 9 lb. of Ardex 9 or, for smaller batches, 2/3 part Ardex 8 to 1 part Ardex 9 by volume. The coverage is up to 300 sq. ft. (two coats) over drywall and approximately 210 sq. ft. (two coats) over concrete substrates.
