This floor heating kit offers a comprehensive solution for achieving warm, comfortable floors while providing exceptional insulation and excellent waterproofing features. This radiant floor heating kit comes with DHERT104/BW DITRA-HEAT WiFi touchscreen programmable thermostat. All DITRA-HEAT thermostats feature built-in GFCI protection and a user-friendly design. These thermostats offer a high level of control over the heating system, making it easy to program heating cycles for optimized comfort and reduced energy costs. The kit also comes with a choice of 2 types of heating membranes:
DITRA-HEAT peel & stick membrane (DHPS512M) or DITRA-HEAT DUO peel & stick membrane (DHDPS810M).

Each membrane is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the DITRA-HEAT-E-HK floor heating cable. The kit includes two DITRA-HEAT temperature sensors, which provide accurate readings from the heated floor to the thermostat, ensuring precise temperature control. Schluter Systems recommends using the appropriate thin-set mortar for installing the Ditra Heat Membrane based on the type of subfloor. For plywood or other porous subfloors, use Schluter ALL-SET® (a modified thin-set mortar), which provides the necessary bonding strength. For concrete subfloors, use Schluter SET® (an unmodified thin-set mortar) to ensure proper adhesion and performance of the Ditra Heat Membrane. Selecting the correct Schluter mortar is crucial for ensuring a strong bond between the membrane and the subfloor, leading to a durable and long-lasting tile installation that maximizes the membrane's uncoupling and waterproofing properties.
