Engineered specifically for outside corners of tiled surfaces, RONDEC creates a symmetrical 1/4" (6 mm) radius at the exposed surface edge and helps resist damage from mechanical stresses. Select configurations are also available in 10' (3.05 m) lengths, providing greater installation flexibility for longer tiled surfaces while helping minimize unnecessary profile joints.

The tile trim edging is available in various colors and sizes to suit any interior design, including black tile edge, white tile edge trim, and aluminum tile edge. It features a trapezium-shaped perforated anchoring leg to be secured in the mortar bond coat (thinset mortar adhesive) beneath the tile. It's round reveal forms a rounded outer corner along the surface edge. The trim liner (RONDEC Schluter Trim) is manufactured from premium aluminum or stainless steel for maximum durability. This ensures that the tile border (edge protection) provides lasting protection for your tiles to prevent cracks. For installation, select the profile according to the tile thickness and format, apply thin-set mortar using a notched trowel, press and align the perforated anchoring leg into the mortar, and apply additional setting material over the anchoring leg before securely embedding the tile. The tiled surface should remain flush with the profile or up to approximately 1/32" (1 mm) lower, with joints filled completely using grout or setting material. Matching inside and outside corners, sink corners, connectors, and end caps provide additional finishing options for detailed tile installations. Periodic cleaning with neutral cleaning agents helps maintain the finished surface, while abrasive cleaners and tools should be avoided on sensitive finishes.
